About Revesby Rhinos

Our Coaches at  Revesby Heights Rhinos are all about providing our players with fun learning,  skills, fitness and most importantly applying that enthusiasm and attitude in all games. 

We  are all about positivity on and off the rugby league field , developing  great friendships, having fun, but also allowing our players to do their best, play their best and develop as a team each week and throughout the whole season. 

We are very competitive and love to compete  in every game, not only do we love watching our teams play but its  great seeing our players smile and sing our team song in our dressing  sheds week after week. 

Our  Club Coaching Co-ordinator Paul Sawaqed has been involved in Rugby  League as a player, coach and trainer since 1994. As a player since 1994  he was in the Parramatta & Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs systems as  well as playing representative school level with NSW Catholic Colleges  and the old Aussie Home Loans / Commonwealth Bank Cup competitions. He has over 15 years experience as a trainer, strength and conditioning  coach and league coach within the Canterbury Bulldogs Junior Grades,  Newtown Jets, Asquith Magpies, Mounties & Paddington Colts. 

He  is a very enthusiastic and proud coaching co-ordinator that provides our  team coaches and players with great learning for all players, in all  grades, no matter their skill level. And is a big believer of fun, direct  learning to make our players better kids on and off the field yet applying their best each and every game no matter of the result. 

Our  Coaches develop themselves with Paul's direction and assistance and we see the rewards each year with our teams winning games, making and playing in finals games as well as our club developing a great reputation in the Canterbury District including our recent Club of the Year Award in 2022. 

Paul and our coaching team look forward to welcoming all our existing and all new players to our club in Season 2026.
